Get ready to unleash your inner scientist while exploring the best playground in the Southeast. Join University of Memphis’ CAESAR for FREE hands-on science experiments and water activities once a month March through July. It’s scientifically proven fun for all ages!See what’s in store below:
- Saturday, March 8 - Kick off Groundwater Awareness Week by making your own edible aquifer in a cup.
- Saturday, April 12 - Celebrate Children and Nature Awareness Month by crafting a water cycle bracelet.
- Saturday, May 10 - It’s Wetlands Month! Explore a watershed model and play an estuary game. This event is held at River Garden (51 Riverside Dr)
- Saturday, June 21 - Celebrate National Rivers Month with a lesson on streams.
- Saturday, July 12 - Did you know that July is Smart Irrigation Month? Put your skills to the test with a fun water conservation game.
